WUUG Swap Meet
Posted by: ezod ()
Date: June 05, 2009 12:50PM

We are planning the first ever WUUG swap meet! A great opportunity to trade your junk in for some new junk.

Date is TBD, but we are shooting for some time in June if we get enough interest.

Please post a list of your items in this thread (on the forum), whether they are for sale, trade, or free to good home.

Here's my loot:

Free:
Soundblaster pci64
ATI Rage IIC AGP
a "Leopard" 56k winmodem (PCI)
some kind of matrix agp vieo card from '98; the GPU says "Matrox MGA MGA-G100A-E"
Quantum Fireball Plus LM 20.5GB IDE Drive*
An assortment of IDE ribbon cables

$10 - A brand new 1 GB stick of Corsair Value Select DDR2 667 RAM in its packaging
$5 - Hauppage WinTV card, Rev. E199

A Morex 2799R mini-itx enclosure, including the power supply (60W or 80W, I cannot remember.) Like this but black: [www.morex.com.tw] The enclosure is nice and sturdy, and can be fitted with a 3.5" HDD as well as a slimline CD drive. Yours for $40, act now and get a free (not working so well) mini-itx computer! (see below)

A Jetway J75FM-VDE mini-itx board (see [www.jetwaycomputer.com] ) that I cannot get to post, which is a shame because it's a pretty sweet board. DVI and VGA for video (supports two screens), while running the VIA C7 processor at 1.2GHz. Fanless board, I had it setup with a compact-flash to IDE card, allowing it to run totally silent. You couldn't tell it was on until the screen came to life. I eventually gave up on trying to fix it, which is why I have the mini-itx enclosure and that brand new stick of ram up here.

*The drive may or may not work, if anyone is interested I will check it out.

If anyone wants any additional regarding these parts, let me know.
